Like many of you, COVID-19 changed what my day-to-day looked like. I went from planning events for a large university that hosted thousands of people each year, to planning limited online events virtually overnight. I found myself working from home full-time, with many more hours to play with my pupper and to "try something new." I had always wanted to try watercoloring and decided now was the time. As a super type-A person, watercolor has become a type of therapy for me and exercise in letting go. Watercolor can be difficult to control and going with the flow, literally, is essential. I can truly say that my mental health has improved due to the joys that watercolor has brought me.

I'm inspired by the world around me and global events. I'm passionate about people, music, environmentalism, social justice, and the platinum rule: Treat others the way THEY want to be treated. I get the greatest joy out of painting for others and creating something meaningful for them. Customized pieces are my favorite and hope I can paint one for you soon!
